One-On-One Nature Photography Workshops

Experience and combine new photographic skills with old traditional ones with nature photographer Joseph Cagliuso with an all day nature photography workshop.

Located here on the North Fork of Long Island ,NY, I conduct my workshop both in the field and in my studio. The shooting venues in the field include: the local wine country, trails and local preserves, the shoreline, beaches, and lighthouses, as well as a macro flower session in my gardens.

In my studio there will be a critique session followed by any questions you may have. A slide show will also be presented with emphasis on more of a compositional basis rather than of a technical one.

The focus of a private lesson is a wonderful way to learn and develop your photographic skills and sharpen your creative eye.
The workshop will consist of a full day from sunrise/early morning to late afternoon/sunset, with a one hour break for lunch. Shooting times can vary depending on weather conditions.

Subject matter will include:
Field Ethics
Equipment & Accessories
Effective use of filters
Use of wild angle lenses with emphasis on hyper-focal focusing
LENSBABY-quite a creative tool
Compositional instruction
Understanding the Visual Latitude of your eyes vs. the camera's meter and sensor.
Other techniques such as multi-exposures, image overlays, and motional movement.

Prerequisites
Participants are expected to and should know how to use their equipment and be familiar with the use of f-stop and shutter-speed. A tripod is also required.

Fee
The cost of the full day is $325.00. This fee also includes a future one hour critique at your convenience to critically view your work and make any suggestions to help strengthen your techniques and creative vision.
